Food Safety and Quality Retail Coordinator
This is a key role within our team, responsible for managing and improving retail food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the retail food safety auditing program in association with Lloyd's Register
* Define and implement food safety improvements
* Monitor food safety continuous improvement plans
* Liaise with sales teams on retail food safety
* Proactively manage at-risk retailers through store assistance programs
* Promote food safety best practice with retailers
* Liaise with environmental health officers and the Food Safety Authority of Ireland on food safety matters
Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in a retail operations role with experience of food safety and quality elements
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Ability to build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Excellent organizational skills to manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
* Third-level degree in food technology, science, or other relevant professional qualification
