The TLI Group Engineering team wish to hire an experienced Project Manager to join our growing multi-disciplinary design team.
This role is primarily office based, with occasional travel to site. It predominantly relates to the management of renewable design projects through the various lifecycle stages (e.g. feasibility, design, planning, tendering, construction design support etc)
In particular, there will be a requirement to manage the interface between civil/structural/electrical design teams and co‑ordinate timely information flow from these design teams to the on‑site construction team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and successfully manage renewable design projects, from tender to design completion, and through to completion on site
Manage and co‑ordinate the appropriate design team personnel (internal & external design teams)
Liaise with TLI Group construction personnel where required
Deal directly and effectively with relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle e.g. Renewable developers, Local Authorities, ESB Networks, GNI, Iarnród Eireann, landowners, legal profession etc.
Develop, implement and monitor project costs, budget plans & programming
Tender submissions - preparation of necessary documents for inclusion in tenders
Manage project programme for the duration of the design process, and through to required design supervision during the construction phase.
Review design drawings during the design phase and prior to formal issues during the design process.
Manage RFI schedules, through the design process
Actively co‑operate with internal departments. HSQE, Design, Quality, Commercial regarding implementation of ISO 9001, ISO14001 & ISO 45001 procedures as required.
Travel to site when necessary for design meetings as required
Qualifications and Skills
Ideally 5+ years’ experience
Experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams & delivery of large infrastructure or renewable projects
Proficient with MS project, teams, excel, word, email, etc
Degree qualified in Engineering or Construction‑related discipline
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Experience in a PSDP role
Experience managing Client relationships from a pre‑works stage to project completion.
Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Strong problem solving and decision‑making skills
Demonstrate the ability to build strong working relationships with project team & stakeholders
Experience of working on large scale utility projects would be preferred
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good oral & written communication skills
Full Drivers licence
