Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating robust and manufacturable hardware that performs in all conditions.



About the Role


* Create parametric CAD parts and assemblies in Onshape that are easy to update as we learn and iterate.
* Design surfacing and solid models suitable for aerodynamic and structural applications.
* Buid assemblies with realistic motion limits, correct tolerances and good design intent.




Key Responsibilities:


1. Perform simple stress analysis to de-risk concepts before prototypes.
2. Generate detailed drawing packs with clear GD & T, BOMs and manufacturing notes.
3. Incorporate additive manufacturing where it provides advantage or speed. define-liApply deep understanding of metalmanufacturing methods tousesignsdensarebuildable repeatbleand high quality.
