Position Summary
Join Enable Ireland as a Senior Speech & Language Therapist to provide assessment, diagnostics, intervention, clinical supervision, and ongoing service delivery to children aged 0‑18 years and their families. The role requires work across a variety of settings including clinics, schools, preschools, special schools, children’s homes, and community settings.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide speech and language therapy services to children and families.
* Conduct assessments, diagnostics, and interventions.
* Supervise and support junior staff.
* Deliver services across multiple settings.
Essential Criteria
* Registered or eligible for registration as a Speech & Language Therapist with the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
* Minimum 3 years full‑time (or equivalent) post‑qualification clinical experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge and professional ability to discharge duties of the office.
* Proof of statutory registration prior to employment.
* Maintain annual registration with CORU.
* Current eligibility to work in Ireland.
* Valid driving licence for the State and own transport for service delivery.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
* Minimum 2 years experience working with children with disabilities.
* Experience with eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties.
* Experience with Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC).
