Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team and take on a challenging role in the construction industry.
Job Description:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing residential and commercial projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project management: overseeing the delivery of projects, including scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
* Client liaison: building strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
* Team leadership: leading and mentoring a team of quantity surveyors to achieve project goals.
* Contract administration: preparing and administering contracts, including tendering, negotiations, and dispute resolution.
* Cost control: managing budgets, estimating costs, and monitoring expenditure.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field (e.g., Construction Management, Engineering).
* At least 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in a senior role.
* Strong knowledge of construction law, contract administration, and project management principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
