Retrofit Surveyor Role Overview
We are currently seeking a full-time Surveyor to support the delivery of our renewable energy projects.
This role focuses on carrying out surveys, energy audits, and technical assessments of domestic properties to ensure compliance with building regulations.
* Meeting with clients to discuss project plans and construction requirements.
* Inspecting existing buildings for flaws and defects.
* Carrying out feasibility studies.
* Gathering and reviewing data ahead of energy audits.
* Conducting energy engineering calculations on dwellings.
* Performing quality assessments on energy-efficient works.
* Conducting various types of domestic energy audits, surveys, and reports to a high standard.
* Drafting scheme designs, timelines, and specifications for works.
* Advising on health and safety aspects of construction.
* Advising on boundary and wall placement.
* Advising on environmental impact, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of building regulations.
