Lakeland Dairies is seeking a confident and driven Milk Assembly Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a key role within our milk operations, offering the opportunity to work collaboratively across departments and sites to ensure smooth and efficient management of milk collection and reconciliation processes.
The Role
As a Milk Assembly Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of milk data, compliance with regulatory standards, and the continuous improvement of operational processes. You'll be responsible for:
* Milk Operations: Daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of milk figures across multiple systems, ensuring timely closure of milk files for supplier payments.
* Compliance: Ensuring adherence to Road Safety Authority and Health & Safety Authority legislation, as well as internal milk quality procedures.
* Financial & Procurement: Supporting monthly payment processing for milk carters and vendors, preparing data for rate negotiations, analyzing transport costs, and conducting procurement activities.
* KPIs & Reporting: Maintaining monthly KPI reports and contributing to route optimisation software appraisals.
* Strategic Sourcing: Identifying cost-saving opportunities and assisting in vendor contract negotiations.
* Process Improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving current practices within the milk collection department.
* Development: Engaging in learning and development activities to foster personal and professional growth.
