Job Description:
The role of Microbiology Laboratory Technician involves working on a continental shift pattern to ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety rules and regulations within the plant.
Responsibilities include reporting any current or potential hazards to the manager immediately, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment at all times during work tasks and adhering to relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Maintaining laboratory housekeeping standards
* Carrying out product testing using microbiological test methods
* Sampling at process sample points and testing products throughout the process for no microbiological impact
