We are looking for a
Senior Product Manager
to own the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the platform – ensuring it remains the market leader while building out new digital features and programmes that deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive growth.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, leading the development team to align technology, UX/UI, and business priorities to shape the future of a well-established platform and innovate for the next generation of users.
The ideal candidate will have a clear vision for the future and the ability to execute effectively, driving essential technical improvements while delivering innovative features to scale the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Derive and communicate the CareersPortal product vision and long-term direction.
Balance enhancing existing features with building new programmes that anticipate future customer needs.
Identify opportunities for growth and translate them into actionable initiatives.
Roadmap Development & Delivery
Own and manage the CareersPortal product roadmap.
Prioritise initiatives based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
Ensure timely delivery of roadmap items in partnership with the development team.
Technology & Delivery Management
Translate strategy into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Lead sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, and release management.
Ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and high-quality digital solutions.
Be comfortable working on necessary non-feature technical improvements on the platform.
User Experience & Design
Champion intuitive, user-friendly, and engaging UX/UI across the platform.
Collaborate with designers to create seamless digital experiences.
Run user testing and feedback loops to continually refine the product.
Performance & Data
Define KPIs and track product performance metrics.
Use data-driven insights to inform decisions and refine the roadmap.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with CareersPortal leaders, Folens Group teams, and external partners.
Communicate product plans, progress, and results clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Candidate Requirements
Experience
5+ years' proven experience as a Product Manager in a digital or B2C environment.
Engineering or Computer science background.
Experience working with developer teams and managing product delivery cycles.
Solid understanding of UX/UI and user-centred design principles.
Comfortable with data analysis and use of insights to guide product decisions.
Background in education or career guidance a plus.
