West Cork Distillers was founded in 2003 by John O’Connell, Denis McCarthy and Ger McCarthy and has since grown to a team of 220 people based in our distillery in Skibbereen, Co. We are looking for
We are seeking a new team member within our Casking and Warehousing team. You’ll help maintain the quality and integrity of our products from barrel to bottle, supporting our mission to craft exceptional spirits. Full training will be provided, but previous experience in a warehousing or forklift operating role is essential. The role is based in our facility in Marsh Road, Skibbereen, Co. Cork. Standard working hours are 8:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday.
What you'll do
Operate forklift daily at multiple site locations
Cask new make spirit from tanks to casks
Operate pumps and other machinery
Manual offload of casks from containers
Ensure the casking and warehousing area is maintained in an audit‑ready state at all times
Flexibility may be required to undertake additional or other duties on occasion, based on business needs and requirements
Other duties as assigned by your manager
What you'll have
Leaving certificate or equivalent
Fluent English to ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to
Experience of working in a warehousing environment or similar
Experience of working with production machinery
