Job Title: Commercial Lead
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading utilities contractor as a Commercial Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale projects from a commercial perspective, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in commercial management within the utilities sector, with a strong understanding of contracts, procurement, and risk management. They will also possess excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.
Beyond the technical requirements, the successful candidate will demonstrate commercially astute knowledge, with a track record of delivering profitable projects. They will also be able to drive continuous improvement in commercial processes, implementing best practices across projects, and mentor junior commercial staff to build a high-performing team.
In this role, you will be working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams on commercial matters, preparing and presenting financial and commercial reports to senior management, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory, legal, and company standards in all commercial operations.
