Diagnostic Imaging Role
We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team in North Tipperary.
This is a full-time or part-time opportunity, with a one-year fixed-term contract, working 35 hours/week plus on-call duties.
The successful candidate will work under the leadership of an experienced Radiology Manager and be part of a dedicated Radiography department.
The role involves providing a high-quality radiography service to patients, adhering to professional standards of practice and radiation protection principles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate daily in the general radiography service, engaging in training for upskilling and professional development.
* Contribute to out-of-hours service as required.
* Maintain high standards in patient care and radiographic techniques.
* Ensure a clean, safe working environment.
* Report equipment faults and maintain knowledge of key areas.
* Efficiently use the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS in daily tasks.
Requirements:
* Diploma/Degree in Radiography.
* CORU registration.
* Knowledge of RIS system and experience with on-call services.
* Flexibility to work in General Department and adapt to changes in healthcare environments.
* Strong awareness of Radiation Safety and Health & Safety regulations.
* Current knowledge of Diagnostic Radiography theory and practice.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
