The Role.
GMC Utilities Group are currently recruiting an experienced Civils Foreman to join our growing team on utility and infrastructure projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hands-on supervisor to lead site crews, coordinate works, and ensure safe and efficient delivery across high-profile projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day site operations, supervising civil crews and subcontractors.
* Ensure works are delivered safely on time, and in line with project specifications and quality standards.
* Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients to coordinate works and resolve site issues.
* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings in line with company HSEQ procedures.
* Maintain site records, complete daily reports, and manage materials and plant requirements.
The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:
* 2+ years' experience in a civils role within utilities or infrastructure.
* Strong understanding of excavation, ducting, reinstatement, and general civils works.
* Ability to read site drawings and coordinate with engineering teams.
* Proven ability to lead teams and manage site activities independently.
* Drivers License essential.
