HRM are delighted to be partnering with a global pharmaceutical leader, that offers a wide range of pharma products, medical devices, and digital and AI solutions for diagnostic and interventional imaging. A pioneer for 95 years in the field of contrast media, this business team consists of over 2,000 people globally, continuously innovating with 10% of revenue dedicated to Research & Development across four centres around the world, including a state-of-the‑art manufacturing plant here in Ireland that is seeing consistent growth and investment. They are currently looking for a EHS Engineer Lead to join their growing operations in Dublin.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement EHS and OHS programs across the site.
Maintain and deliver effective EHS training programs.
Manage internal EHS audits and inspections, and track actions to completion.
Analyse EHS data and trends to lead proactive initiatives.
Monitor legal compliance and lead corrective measures when needed.
Lead and coordinate risk assessments for tasks, areas, and equipment.
Support the maintenance of a certified EHS management system (ISO 45001), including leading the EHS site committee and integrating EHS representatives.
Oversee incident investigations and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
Conduct manual handling, ergonomic assessments, and compliance checks on batch records and manufacturing documentation.
Continuously improve EHS training programs and deliver site-wide briefings and modules.
Support regulatory inspections and documentation management in a GMP environment.
Ensure responsibilities under the site's Health & Safety Management System are upheld.
Provide support in security and site access control.
Perform additional EHS-related duties as required.

Experience

3-5 years in an Occupational Health and Safety role within a bulk pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.
Experience with Seveso sites, IED Licences, ISO 14001 / 45001, and GMP is an advantage.
Familiarity with internal auditing, manual handling training, and VDU assessments is desirable.
EHS professional with strong leadership qualities.
Excellent organizational and self‑management capabilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
Proven ability to compile, analyse and report EHS data.
A mindset focused on continuous improvement and system accountability.
