Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Manager at Lock 13 Gastropub & Craft Beer House located in Sallins. The General Manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction, and uphold the establishment’s reputation. Responsibilities include budgeting, inventory management, staff training, implementing operational policies, and liaising with suppliers. The General Manager will also focus on promoting the gastropub’s offerings, maintaining the high standard of food and beverages, and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Develop and manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control.
Manage inventory, procurement, and supplier relations.
Train, coach, and develop staff to maintain high standards of service.
Implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.
Promote the gastropub’s offerings, including food and craft beer pairings.
Uphold high standards of food and beverage quality and safety.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
Proven management skills, including team leadership, conflict resolution, and staff motivation.
Experience in inventory management, budgeting, and operational efficiency.
Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and craft beer industries, including menu planning and pairing.
Customer service excellence, with a focus on delivering a memorable guest experience.
Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using relevant business tools and software for scheduling, reporting, and tracking performance metrics.
Flexibility to manage a dynamic hospitality schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry, is highly valued.
