Overview
We now wish to recruit a Senior Construction Scheduler for a large Pharmaceutical project in Co. Westmeath.
The successful candidate will have suitable experience of developing and managing complex project schedules through the construction lifecycle.
The candidate should have a minimum of 6-10 years’ experience in Project Scheduling of complex projects from design through to construction and commissioning. A third level degree in a scientific or engineering field is preferable. Construction site experience, with Last Planner methodology, is also an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a good understanding of project coordination and management throughout the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage detailed schedules covering the Construction stage of projects.
* Develop and manage project control tools.
* Perform Critical Path development and analysis.
* Lead and facilitate Interactive Planning Workshops.
* Engage and support the project team from early stages.
* Provide performance updates and reports to identify variances and corrective actions.
* Identify project milestones, monitor, and report on them.
* Liaise with the project management team and provide regular schedule performance status reports.
* Establish project schedule resource requirements.
* Develop and communicate tools to achieve project goals.
* Contribute to Constructability Reviews.
* Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the Client.
* Establish project objectives aligned with client expectations and ensure goals and timelines are met.
* Execute projects within an established Quality Management system.
Qualifications
* 6-10 years of relevant experience.
* Expertise in Primavera P6 software.
* Experience in scheduling the construction phase of projects.
* Strong knowledge of design and construction sequences and logic.
* Pharmaceutical industry experience.
* Experience with earned value management and progress measurement.
* Experience in all phases of home office engineering.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
