Role Overview
This role is part of the National Sales Apprenticeship Programme (2-year formal qualification). Over 80% of your training will take place onsite with us, supported by online learning and periodic classroom sessions.
This opportunity is ideal for someone beginning a sales career — especially someone who enjoys digital communication, photography, video, and social-media content creation, alongside developing strong customer-service and sales skills.
What You Will Learn on Your Sales Apprenticeship
Sales Training & Customer Journey
* How to manage and develop customer follow-up and prospecting systems.
* Understanding the full customer journey from enquiry to delivery and beyond.
* Building rapport and long-term relationships with customers in a professional manner.
* Recording and maintaining accurate customer contact details using in-house systems.
* Conducting accurate appraisals of part-exchange vehicles and agreeing valuations with the Sales Manager.
* Gaining product knowledge through regular training and brand updates.
* The standards and processes required to progress into a full Sales Executive role.
Digital Marketing & Social Media (Strong Emphasis)
* Capturing high-quality photos and videos of vehicles for online advertising.
* Creating short walk-around videos, "new arrival" clips and feature highlights for social media.
* Helping to manage Quinn Motors' social-media presence.
* Writing simple but professional captions and posts to showcase vehicles and dealership activity.
* Supporting digital campaigns, promotions, seasonal events and online engagement.
* Using digital visibility as a core part of the modern sales process to attract new customers.
Showroom, Vehicle Presentation & Operations
* Maintaining showroom and forecourt presentation to dealership standards.
* Ensuring display vehicles, demo cars and price displays are up to date and presentable.
* Coordinating vehicle preparation and movement with the sales and aftersales teams.
* Understanding how sales, service and vehicle preparation work together behind the scenes.
