Job Summary
There is currently one permanent and whole‑time Clinical Nurse Manager II post available in the Neurology Department of Galway University Hospitals.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of post‑registration nursing experience in the area of neurology, relevant to the role of Neurology Headache CNS.
* Maintain access to appropriate transport to fulfil the requirements of the role as post will involve frequent travel.
* Adopt a flexible approach to working hours in order to ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Post‑registration nursing qualification.
* Experience in neurology nursing (specifically CNS/headache specialty preferred).
* Ability to travel frequently and access appropriate transport.
* Flexibility in working hours.
Additional Information
The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as the need arises. A panel may be created from which permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part‑time duration may be filled. Interviews will be held as soon as possible after closing date. Candidates will normally be given at least one week's notice of interview; timelines may be reduced in exceptional circumstances.
