Key Accountabilities
Partner closely with Corporate Sales Managers to lead the RFP/RFQ process, define our Win Strategy and deliver exceptional, highly tailored proposal responses.
Review Sysco’s existing repository of approved proposal responses to ensure accuracy and clear messaging of our credentials and track record.
Collaborate with subject matter experts from Merchandising, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Operations and Marketing to develop compelling, value‑based messaging.
Track and analyse key proposal metrics, identify improvement areas and support data‑driven decision‑making.
Provide monthly updates on the proposal development pipeline to the Head of Corporate Sales and Commercial Director.
Coach team members on developing engaging, well‑tailored proposal responses for potential customers and industry.
Requirements
Experience in a Proposal/Bid Manager role.
Excellent project management skills; able to organise and lead cross‑functional teams on simultaneous proposal efforts.
Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Self‑motivated, adaptable, able to shift priorities and remain calm under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong stakeholder relationships and collaborative mindset.
Integrity and respect in all actions.
Proficiency with tools such as PowerPoint and Smartsheet – eye for formatting, consistency and clarity in proposal content.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Experience supporting sales strategy improvements.
Knowledge of the Foodservice industry.
Experience in fast growth companies.
Experience with Salesforce and proposal management software.
