Lead Publications Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity for a publishing or communications professional to play a key role in delivering high-profile publications, events and research initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily finances of the unit, including invoice processing and budget management
* Deliver and manage marketing campaigns and public events
* Coordinate PR and communications activity with the Communications Office
* Streamline work between in-house staff, editors and external partners
Essential Requirements:
* Degree-level qualification in a relevant field
* At least three years relevant experience, including two in publishing
* Strong project and time management skills
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication
* Proven experience in marketing and event management
* Able to handle budgets and use financial software
* Effective stakeholder engagement skills
Additional desirable skills include postgraduate qualification in a related field, experience with PR, media monitoring, Canva, Mailchimp or Eventbrite, familiarity with publisher metadata systems, and proficiency in Irish.
