Job Responsibilities: Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. Conduct feasibility studies to ensure project viability. Monitor project costs and manage financial reporting. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare tender documentation and analyze submissions. Assess and manage risks associated with project costs. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to the project. Provide advice and guidance on contractual claims and disputes. Stay updated with legislation, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying. Essential Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional accreditation or membership in relevant institutions (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or related fields. Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion. Experience with cost management software and tools is highly desirable.
