You’ll work closely with clients across a wide range of industries, managing your own portfolio, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the firm’s continued success.The RoleAs Senior Accountant, you’ll take ownership of a varied client portfolio, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and business advisory services. You’ll work directly with clients, providing practical and insightful advice, while supporting the development of the wider accounts team.Key responsibilities include:Preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole tradersPreparing management accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax computationsReviewing the work of junior team members and providing guidance and supportBuilding and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication and advisory supportEnsuring all work is completed accurately and in line with accounting standardsSupporting Partners and Managers with business advisory and planning projectsAssisting with process improvements and contributing to firm-wide initiativesAbout YouYou’ll be a confident and detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working closely with clients and supporting their business growth.You will:Be ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)Have at least 3 years’ experience in a UK or Irish accountancy practiceDemonstrate strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirementsBe confident managing your own portfolio and reviewing others’ workPossess excellent communication and organisational skillsBe proactive, adaptable, and commercially awareHave experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooksThe FirmYou’ll be joining a modern, forward-thinking accountancy and advisory firm with a strong reputation for delivering expert financial advice and outstanding client service.
