Site Reliability Engineer At GTreasury, you will join the makers, breakers, doers, and disruptors passionate about solving problems and meeting customer needs. As an established FinTech leader in the SaaS treasury management space, we are driven by the vision of creating the next generation of technology tools for the global corporate financial office.What You Will Do:Embed with stream-aligned teams in time-boxed engagements (6-12 weeks) to build their CI/CD maturity and deployment capabilities.Coach engineering teams on designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Octopus Deploy.Guide teams in adopting trunk-based development, feature flags, and progressive delivery strategies (blue/green deployments, canary releases).Teach automated testing practices within deployment pipelines, including unit, integration, and smoke testing strategies.Help teams implement deployment automation that enables frequent, safe releases with minimal manual intervention.Identify and remove deployment bottlenecks, helping teams reduce lead time for changes and increase deployment frequency.Develop reusable pipeline templates, documentation, and golden path examples that teams can adopt independently.Measure and track team progress on releasability metrics (deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate) and demonstrate improvement.Collaborate with the Subsystems Platform Team to translate common team needs into self-service capabilities.Facilitate knowledge sharing through workshops, pairing sessions, and documentation that builds lasting team competence.Essential Knowledge / Experience:At least three years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, CI/CD, or Platform Engineering roles.Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.Proven experience with Octopus Deploy for deployment automation and release orchestration.Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.Deep understanding of deployment automation, release orchestration, and progressive delivery techniques.Proven ability to coach and mentor engineering teams, with excellent communication and teaching skills.Strong knowledge of trunk-based development, branching strategies, and version control best practices.Experience implementing automated testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines.Understanding of how IaC integrates with deployment pipelines and infrastructure provisioning.Familiarity with feature flag frameworks and experimentation platforms.Consultative mindset with the ability to influence and guide teams without direct authority.Passion for continuous improvement and helping others succeed.Desired Skills / Experience:Experience with GitOps practices and declarative deployment models.Knowledge of container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).Familiarity with observability tools and how to integrate telemetry into deployment pipelines.Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.Understanding of security scanning and compliance gates in CI/CD pipelines.Background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or Production Engineering.Experience measuring and improving DORA metrics across engineering teams.Experience with multi-cloud deployments (Azure, AWS).What Success Looks Like:Number of teams enabled per quarter: Successfully completing 3-4 team engagements per quarter.Deployment frequency increase: Enabled teams show measurable improvement in how often they deploy to production.Lead time reduction: Teams reduce the time from commit to production deployment.Pipeline automation adoption: High percentage of teams using automated pipelines after engagement.Team self-sufficiency: Post-engagement surveys demonstrate teams can independently manage their CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge transfer: Teams continue to improve their practices after the engagement concludes.Additional InformationThis is an Enabling Team role focused on building capabilities in others, not doing the work for teams.Engagements are time-boxed (typically 6-12 weeks) before rotating to help the next team.You will work across multiple product teams, requiring adaptability and strong relationship-building skills.Opportunities for professional growth in coaching, DevOps practices, and emerging deployment technologies.Work in a global, collaborative environment that values teaching, learning, and continuous improvement.Flexible working arrangements with a remote-first culture that supports work-life balance.About GTreasury:GTreasury provides CFOs and Treasurers with The Clarity to Act on strategic financial decisions with the world's most adaptable treasury platform, empowering them to face the challenges of today and tomorrow.
