The Store Leader will be responsible for leading a team of colleagues, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. This includes providing coaching, guidance, and support to help them achieve their goals. The role also involves managing stock control activities, warehouse layout, and processes to ensure efficient workflows.
Main Responsibilities:
* Creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for colleagues and customers.
* Managing the store when the Store Manager or Deputy Manager is absent.
* Ensuring team members are fully trained and validated in their roles.
* Cultivating a culture of two-way communication and trust.
* Coaching and managing colleagues to deliver their daily priorities.
* Reviewing reports and systems to identify areas for improvement.
* Driving a zero-food-waste culture, managing date codes, and reducing food waste.
* Recruiting high-quality colleagues who share our passion for customer satisfaction.
* Implementing cleaning specifications and ensuring adherence through leadership by example.
