Role: Head of Innovation and Continuous Improvement (Principal Officer level)Client: An Garda SíochánaLocation: Ashtown Gate, Dublin 15Salary: Starting from: €104,971Application Method: GetGot Application form onlyAn Garda Síochána is seeking a Head of Innovation & Continuous Improvement (Principal Officer level) to drive a culture of innovation and process improvement across the organisation.This role will be Head of Service to lead the Innovation and Continuous Improvement (I&CI) pillar within the Strategic & Transformation function (S&T). The I&CI function will provide a broad mix of multi-disciplinary services and will interact widely throughout AGS. The I&CI will largely face outwards from S&T to the wider organisation. This PO resource will be responsible for overseeing all activity in this pillar and ensuring performance objectives are met. This includes managing a team split across four sub-teams:The Benefits Realisation team: responsible for tracking and reporting on benefits realisation, post-programme evaluations, and sharing lessons learned with the S&T management team and wider AGS.The Process Improvement Team: responsible for providing business process improvement expertise, deploying methods such as Lean and Six Sigma to redesign processes to maximize value delivery.The Innovation Hub: working closely with programme/project leads and business/organisation leads to advise on innovative initiatives integrated into business activities.The Enterprise Change Management team: defining, maintaining, and driving adoption of a consistent change management approach across the organisation.Essential CriteriaHold a qualification at minimum Level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications (Honours Bachelor Degree level).Five or more years of leadership experience in transformation programmes/functions, including process improvement, benefits management, or managing an innovation/continuous improvement team in a large organisation.Experience operating at Senior Management level, influencing strategic planning and decision-making, leading teams of 10-15+ individuals.Significant process improvement and transformation experience, with a focus on delivering organisational improvements.Desirable CriteriaA relevant certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) or qualification (e.g., Higher Diploma or Certificate) in Process Improvement, Innovation, or related disciplines.Experience in a leadership role across multiple organisations, or international experience, or outside of Civil Service.Experience spanning policy and operational roles.*Please click the view/job details button to find the candidate information booklet*For further information and to apply online, visit Staffline GetGot Jobs Ireland or click 'Apply now'.
