Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at St Michaels National School in Ballyfermot.
Responsibilities:
* To provide effective management support to the Childcare Manager and ensure high quality standards are maintained at the service.
* To manage staff, engage with parents, and work in partnership with them to ensure excellent outcomes for children.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* A minimum qualification of QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent is essential. Previous relevant experience is also required.
* The successful candidate must be self-motivated with excellent communication, organisational skills, ability to motivate others, as well as being able to supervise staff effectively. Experience of working with school-aged children as well as pre-school aged children is desirable but not necessary. A thorough knowledge of early years sector policies would be beneficial too., Candidate must have an understanding of Health Safety practices within childcare setting(s)
