Position Summary:
Seconn Fabrication is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to help ensure customer satisfaction by inspecting products, recording results, and working closely with Production, Engineering, and Customers to resolve issues and improve communication.
Key Responsibilities:
* Track quality-critical jobs throughout the shop using the quality schedule
* Inspect parts during and after production for key quality attributes
* Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAIR)
* Create and manage RMAs; coordinate returns with production and customers
* Communicate with Production and Engineering to improve documentation and processes
* Identify and report non-conforming materials; support corrective actions
* Review, approve, and send certification documents
* Coach operators on critical jobs and quality standards
* Write quality alerts and update job spec packages
* Maintain quality tools and equipment
* Suggest improvements to work instructions
* Assist in production when needed
* Perform weld inspections
* Complete other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role
* Strong understanding of quality control principles
* Skilled with inspection tools (calipers, height gauges, pin gauges, etc.)
* Able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer tasks
* Basic math skills
* Experience with sheet metal fabrication and Welding
