Located in Drogheda, you'll be managing activities, tours and experiences in both our locations in Dublin and Drogheda.
Your Role:
As Group Activity Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering exciting activity programs for international student groups visiting our schools. This includes coordinating logistics, budgeting, and leading a team to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience. We deliver services 7 days per week and your role is about planning so that those services run smoothly to issues outside of office hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and manage group activity timetables, budgets, and logistics
* Coordinate all group arrival transfers, weekend tours, and evening events
* Supervise and support a team of Activity Leaders, ensuring high-quality program delivery
* Meet with Group Leaders upon arrival and maintain ongoing communication to ensure a positive experience
* Adapt and problem-solve to meet group requirements and handle last-minute changes
* Optimize group schedules to maximize their time and experience in Ireland
* Maintain accurate budget records and expense reporting
* Work closely with external service providers, including transport and tour companies
* Represent ELI professionally, ensuring groups have a memorable experience and want to return
About You:
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to remain calm and adaptable under pressure
* Experience in event planning, student programs, or hospitality is a plus
* A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving
