Offshore Substation Engineer Role
The successful candidate will provide technical expertise into proposals and projects, representing the company in client meetings as appropriate.
Liaising with internal and external teams including HVDC, Civils, Cable, and P&C teams to deliver comprehensive end-to-end services is key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Complete detailed engineering designs, plans, specifications, calculations, reports, and exhibits that meet current codes and standards (Eirgrid, ESB, NG, IEC, IEEE).
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for structural and civil design requirements, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
3. Draft, review, and revise technical documents, including design reports and meeting minutes, to ensure accuracy and clarity.
