Senior Buyer We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer with a strong background in procurement to join our expanding supply chain team.
This new role will work closely with a senior buyer and cross-functional teams, playing a key part in supplier management, cost optimisation, and sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Manage and develop global suppliers.
Lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favourable terms, and reliable lead times.
Support and enhance procurement strategy with new ideas and market insight.
Drive cost-reduction and manage material risk to prevent supply disruptions.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality to meet operational and project needs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and component technologies.
Promote continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems.
Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of the electronics supply chain and component markets.
Proven negotiation and supplier-relationship management experience.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency with ERP and procurement systems.
Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
7+ years' experience in electronics procurement.
