Job Title – Façade Manager
Project – Residential Apartments
Job Location – North Dublin
Salary – €60K - €70K + package
About the Company
Main Building Contractor with a turnover over €200M (which is set to increase this year!)
Strong pipeline of work in the North Dublin Region – this project is to run 3+ years so ideal for someone coming from the North or Louth who is driving in to the city.
This is a new role within the company to keep up with increased workload and there will be tons of progression opportunities as the project progresses.
The project is high volume residential apartments and requires someone from a Façade Engineer or Bricklayer Foreman type background who can manage large packages and multiple subbies.
The Role
* Coordination and supervision of the installation of various facades elements on a high-volume residential development
* Report to and Support the Project Manager and Contracts Manager.
* Oversee projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff, trades and subcontractors over multiple sites.
* Attend meetings with Clients, Architects, Design Team, site crew and Senior Management to update them on the progress of the projects.
* Lead weekly toolbox talk and whiteboard meetings.
* Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
* Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, ordering of materials and meeting deadlines.
* Perform company compliance, H&S and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations in the site diary.
Requirements
* Construction Management or Trades Background. Preference given to those with a background in facades or bricklaying
* A minimum of 5 years proven experience in a management position on projects valued over €2/3M
* Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
* Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
