Role: Health and Safety Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead our health and safety strategies across multiple residential and commercial projects in Wexford. This key leadership role will drive a positive safety culture, ensure legal compliance, and promote best practices on site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage the company's health and safety policies and site safety plans.
2. Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and site inspections to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
3. Lead incident investigations and follow up with corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
4. Deliver health and safety training programs to staff and subcontractors.
5. Track safety KPIs and report performance to senior leadership.
6. Provide on-site support and guidance to project and site teams.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a senior health and safety role within the construction sector.
* NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety.
* Strong working knowledge of Irish construction safety legislation.
* Able to lead, influence, and build strong relationships across teams.
* Excellent reporting, training, and communication skills.
