A highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Officer is required to join our organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing health, safety, environmental and quality records, coordinating documentation and maintaining training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively manage health, safety and environmental administrative functions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Assist with developing, updating and issuing client HSE and quality information and records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records at all times.
* Coordinate documentation change control procedure, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and approved.
* Maintain administrative records of the client's training program and preventative maintenance program, ensuring that all training and maintenance activities are properly recorded and reported.
* Carry out risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing controls to mitigate risks.
* Conduct inductions and training for new employees and visitors, ensuring that they understand their roles and responsibilities and are aware of any relevant policies and procedures.
* Publish quarterly health, safety, environmental and quality KPIs, providing regular updates on performance and areas for improvement.
* Maintain ADR/CVRTs for vehicles and driver data records, ensuring that all vehicle and driver records are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements:
* Degree-level education in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a relevant role, preferably in a similar industry.
* Experience in implementing ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, with a proven track record of success.
* Excellent communication and team working skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
* Proficient IT skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), with experience of using databases and other software packages.
