Job Title
To support the Director of Nursing in a top nursing home in Galway, we are seeking an experienced and skilled leader to oversee the clinical and professional leadership of our care team.
This role involves delivering direct resident care while ensuring that high standards are maintained. You will be responsible for promoting safety, quality care, dignity, privacy, and rights of residents/patients.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills to develop relationships with residents in order to facilitate autonomy and informed choice. Experience working with people with dementia is highly desirable.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
* Registered General Nurse on the Register of Nurses held by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
* Post registration qualification in nursing people with dementia
* Evidence of continuous professional development
