The Carpenter will be responsible for: Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials Constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures including frameworks, roofs, floors, doors, and windows Building concrete formwork and installing framing for residential and commercial projects Ensuring all work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and safety regulations Operating hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and efficiently Collaborating with other trades and construction team members on site Qualifications: Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program, equivalent trade certification or proved experience.
Skills: Proficient in using carpentry hand tools and power tools Strong measuring, cutting, and assembly skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Knowledge: Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards Knowledge of different materials, methods, and tools used in carpentry Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of carpentry experience in residential or commercial construction Proven track record of quality workmanship Physically fit and able to perform manual labour Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team39 Hours per week.
