Requirements
Experience of people management and supervising a continuous production line.
Good mechanical aptitude with previous technical experience desirable.
Excellent communication skills with colleagues at all levels.
Be hands on in their approach, able to problem solve and lead a team to achieve business goals.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibility and accountability for the running of a continuous production lines, CNC Forming and Assembly processes.
Ensuring all standard operating procedures and quality processes are rigorously adhered to, resulting in the reduction of customer complaints.
Managing production within agreed financial budgets for labour, materials and general expenditure, not exceeding manufacturing and overhead expenditure.
Facilitating effective shift handovers covering issues and challenges and daily update briefs.
Effectively manage staffing levels ensuring all holidays and sickness are covered with no negative impact to production and in line with departmental budgets.
Maintaining discipline through the adherence to company procedures and guidelines.
Implementing training and performance assessments and training programmes to improve skill base to meet the on-going needs of the business.
