We are currently seeking a motivated Part Time Deli Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing fresh food, takes pride in customer service, and works well in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve hot and cold deli food to a high standard
* Ensure counters are well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing
* Follow food hygiene and safety procedures (HACCP compliant)
* Take customer orders efficiently and with a positive attitude
* Operate deli equipment safely (slicers, ovens, etc.)
* Assist with stock rotation, date checks, and deliveries
* Maintain cleanliness in line with company and HSE guidelines
About You / Qualifications
* Friendly and approachable with good communication skills
* Enjoys working in a team environment
* Comfortable in a busy, customer-facing role
* Good attention to detail and presentation
* Previous deli or food-handling experience is an advantage
* HACCP training or willingness to complete it is desirable
