Red Kite Dublin has an urgent hybrid contract opening in Dublin, for a 7+ years exp Senior Angular Developer with a strong background in Java development. Will be joining a large team on a prestigious client in D2, only requiring 1 day per week on-site. This is a 12 month contract with built-in extensions.
Role Description
• Lead frontend Angular developments, experience with migrating complex legacy applications and collaborating with teams for integrations.
• Experience in upskilling team for Angular development and creating Angular development standards to support team.
• Provide and analyse technical designs in line with business requirements.
• Produce high‐level and detailed estimates for governance gateway documents.
• Create functional design specifications and/or user stories.
• Code new developments/enhancements in line with standards.
• Quality assure code and output in the project.
• Peer review code
• Identify and implement sufficient integration testing, system testing and automation testing where necessary.
• Provide support for applications in the system test environments.
• Mentor and coach junior members.
• Manage the tasks of junior resources on the team.
• Guide intermediate level team members in their work.
• Plan and co‐ordinate system test and live releases.
• Support project managers in all aspects of their work.
• Provide input to governance and status reports.
• Outline resource requirements for a project / sub team.
• Help track project progress against the plan and report variances.
• Identify and report on any technical risks that might be relevant to the project delivery.
• Manage issues and risks affecting the project/team.
• Investigate and prioritise live incidents. Perform root cause analysis and propose permanent fixes or suitable workarounds as required.
• Organise live incident tickets or bug tracking.
• Manage and monitor live issues across various Systems.
• Liaise with development / Continuous Service Improvement teams to identify & implement fixes as required to resolve live issues.
• Identify Continuous service improvements and work to implement the initiatives.

• Ability to synthesise complex technical information and deliver meaningful messages to people of various technical abilities.
• Knowledge/experience of project delivery methodologies, application development lifecycle, waterfall development model, agile development model and hybrid development model.
• Experience working in standards driven environments.
