Electrical Project Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Electrical Resource to support Capital Projects in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
To manage engineering requirements through liaising with key project stakeholders (client design team, main contractor, suppliers, sub-contractors, etc.) and executing projects ensuring compliance to relevant standards/codes and specifications.
Responsibilities include managing site activities associated with validation and handover to the operations team, as well as experience in assisting the design of Electrical systems such as Instrumentation, Low Voltage Distribution, Motor control centres (MCCs), Lighting systems, Generators, UPS and Fire safety and Detection systems.
Familiarisation with project scheduling within an operating plant is also required.
The ideal candidate will ensure works are installed in accordance with project specifications and change control procedures, and understands the typical project life cycle from concept through to qualification.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working in an Electrical Role
* Good knowledge of current electrical power and instrumentation systems
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
* Familiar with project scheduling tools
