About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to lead governance controls and policies across the Group as it grows.
* Lead governance controls and policies across the Group as it grows.
* Coordinate and collate Board reports from each trading division for review with the Group Finance Controller prior to issuing to the Board.
* Contribute to identifying available grants and co-ordinating the retrieval of grants across the entire group.
* Provide valuable insights into weekly and monthly financial reporting to inform the Board of variances in financial reporting compared to budgets and prior year results.
* Assist and lead internal audit reviews.
* Support shared services and the wider group with systems improvement initiatives to maintain a leading-edge approach to modern business technology.
* Collate information for full-year financial forecasting for the Group.
* Contribute to the group budgeting process.
* Support year-end audit and tax work.
* Undertake ad hoc projects and systems work.
About the Person
* Qualified Accountant.
* FMCG experience is preferred.
* Big 4/Top 20 audit training is highly desirable.
* Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent IT skills are required.
* Some travel may be required for this role.
