Project Finishing Manager
We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the completion of our residential project in West Dublin.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience as a Finishing Foreman and be capable of ensuring the highest standards of health and safety on site. Additionally, they should be skilled in managing subcontractors and overseeing the final stages of project delivery.
Responsibilities include:
* Taking ownership of on-site health and safety, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with regulations.
* Reporting on progress weekly, and proactively addressing any delays to keep the project on track.
* Managing and coordinating subcontractors and service providers to meet project milestones, including testing and commissioning.
* Carrying out continuous inspections of on-site works, resolving issues promptly to maintain quality and momentum.
* Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Leading and managing snagging teams to achieve efficient, high-quality unit handovers.
* Tracking site labour and material usage through daily allocation sheets.
* Taking ownership of each unit from plastering/skimming through 2nd and 3rd fix, snagging, and final handover.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience as a Finishing Foreman within the construction sector.
* Relevant trade qualifications or technical certification in construction, carpentry, or a related field.
* A thorough understanding of construction processes, with a strong focus on the final stages of project delivery, including fit-outs and finishes.
* The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specs.
