Our client, a leading global insurance organisation, is seeking an experienced actuary to join its Dublin-based team in a senior leadership capacity.This is a high-impact opportunity within an established actuarial function, offering responsibility for a significant international liability portfolio and the opportunity to partner closely with senior stakeholders across underwriting, finance, pricing, and broader actuarial teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead reserving oversight and valuation analysis for a complex international liability portfolioReview and challenge reserving methodologies, assumptions, and financial impacts, presenting insights to senior leadershipPartner with underwriting, finance, and pricing teams to support portfolio performance, profitability, and strategic decision-makingSupport business planning, governance, and legal entity reserving requirementsDrive continuous improvement across reserving processes, reporting, and actuarial analysis while mentoring team membersRequirementsQualified Actuary with significant post-qualified experience within non-life insuranceStrong reserving experience, ideally across complex international or specialty linesProven leadership experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholdersStrong commercial mindset with the ability to translate technical actuarial analysis into business insightExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
