Automation Specialist
This role involves ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of automated equipment throughout manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and troubleshoot complex servo-driven systems, vacuum circuits, and automated machinery utilizing digital multi-meters and technical documentation.
* Maintain and enhance existing automation systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
* Support production start-ups and changeovers by aligning and adjusting automation and robotic components, transferring equipment between presses, modifying stroke settings, and replacing robot heads.
* Apply basic programming changes to robotic systems and automation equipment.
* Repair or replace mechanical and electrical components as needed.
* Collaborate with engineering and other departments to design and implement new automation solutions.
Requirements:
* Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn injection molding, assembly, decorating, and robotic systems.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic schematics, and mechanical drawings.
* Experience in troubleshooting servo systems and vacuum circuits.
* Familiarity with PLC-controlled machinery is preferred.
* Basic computer skills and effective communication abilities are essential.
* Team-oriented individuals with good interpersonal skills are highly valued.
