Niaron Ltd, established in 2000, is a family owned construction and civil engineering company specialising in the delivery of utility and infrastructure projects across Ireland.The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.With over 25 years of experience, we have built a strong track record working on long-term frameworks & major infrastructure projects with semi-state bodies and private Clients alike.Our mission is to consistently meet client expectations by delivering projects safely, sustainability, and to the highest standards of quality, while ensuring programmes and budgets are maintained.The Role: The Civils Crew Lead role reporting to the Project Manager (PM) will be based on one of our sites in the Limerick Area.The Crew Lead will be responsible for assisting the PM with all aspects of their role which includes strict management of all health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) procedures and day to day management of the project.The role will involve an initial assessment of assigned tasks, planning the works with the PM including identifying any specific site requirements, scheduling crews and construction of the works.The duties of the Crew Lead will include: In charge of the work site & crew members PSCS Representative on Site Co-ordinates the works on site May have additional duties based on the site requirements.Identification of hazards, implementation of control measures and coordination of health & safety on site.Must observe all Safety Rules and Procedures and lead by example.Ensure the SSWP is completed with participation of all other operatives on site.Brief crew and/or visitors on Risks on Site & Control Measures & SSWP & Environmental Hazards.Check for relevant inductions.Report to Niaron Management Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications Good knowledge of the civil construction works Ability to communicate with peers both written and verbal Willing to work independently or as part of a team Good understanding of the civil engineering and utilities business.Excellent knowledge of HSEQ requirements.Ability to interpret site information.Minimum 5 years experience in a Crew Lead role Required: Safepass Manual Handling Full Clean Driving licence Training required but not essential: Sign, Lighting & Guarding at Roadworks.Location of Underground Services.CSCS Tickets PICW Level E or CCL1 or CCL2 Training Opportunities Team building and leadership.Well established procedures to work within.Opportunity to join an established business in the region.Being part of promoting the company culture and values.Contribute to a dynamic team.
