The purpose of this role is to work as part of a dynamic sales team in the Dublin region, seeking and winning Commercial New Business. The role entails focusing on specific company driven sales campaigns with the New Business and Existing Teams while working on own initiative to generate larger type Commercial New Business leads for conversion.

Sales & Activity Management
* Seek, Quote and Convert quotations for new commercial clients.
* Assist in achieving the overall New Business objectives of the Commercial Lines teams in the Dublin region.
* Conduct regular team meetings to discuss Pipeline and New Business Strategy.
* Comply with all relevant compliance legislation and ensure all agreed processed are followed.
* Manage aged debt and premium collection.
* Comply with all Management Audit Requirements.
* Meet income acquisition and referral targets set
* Maintain an excellent team work ethic.
Customer Relationship Management
* Build long-term trusted relationships with customers, through understanding their needs and being a true partner.
* Enable customers to make informed decisions, through sharing of best advice and knowledge.
Customer Service
* Provide professional, action-orientated and timely service to our customers, staff and management
* Put customers at the heart of everything you do, aiming to delight them during every interaction to build loyalty

Team Collaboration
* Work closely with the Managing Director & Regional Directors within a large regional team.
* Working with the team to develop new business pipeline and to deliver best results.
* Assist in achieving the overall objectives of the Commercial Lines New Business and Commercial Lines Teams.
Compliance
* Work with the Commercial Teams Regional Director's and Compliance Teams in ensuring that quality of file records meets prescribed standards.
Requirements
* CIP qualified as a minimum and preferably studying towards the ACII.
* Compliant with the Central Bank's Minimum Competency Code and Fitness & Probity.
* Previous experience in the area of New Business Development, with excellent technical and product knowledge.
* Experienced in building strong working relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development. Quick learning capabilities and an aptitude for understanding the variable elements of insurance products.
* Ability to deal with and convert larger more complex commercial risks into clients.
* Excellent communication skills and a strong client relationship background are essential.
* Excellent negotiation skills and an understanding how best to negotiate between price and risk.
* Possess a positive, can-do attitude with the ability to adapt to and embrace change and adapt to unforeseen events.
* Motivated, self-starter who will work on their own initiative and appreciate the regulatory nature of the business.
* Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a high level of energy and attention to detail
