Infinity Lifts are delighted to open the application process for our 2026 apprentice program. An opportunity for the successful candidates to embark on a career in rewarding industry with a market leader. As part of the apprenticeship, the candidates will be enrolled with SOLAS as electrical apprentices and also complete NVQ Level 3 Lift Installation .
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and practical Lift Engineer Apprentice to join our growing team in the West of Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in a highly skilled and in-demand trade, working alongside experienced lift engineers on a wide variety of projects.
As an apprentice, you will receive structured training combining on-the-job experience with formal apprenticeship education, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist qualified lift engineers with the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of lifts and escalators
* Learn to diagnose faults and carry out repairs safely and efficiently
* Support routine inspections and safety checks
* Work on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
* Follow all health & safety procedures and company standards
What We're Looking For
* Genuine interest in engineering, mechanics, or electrical systems
* Good practical skills and willingness to learn
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Basic maths and problem-solving ability
* Full clean driving licence (or working towards one) is an advantage
Requirements
* Leaving Certificate (or equivalent)
