Exciting opportunity for a H&S Officer to lead safety activities on a major new site in County Waterford. This role starts with a construction focus and transitions to a broader QHSE remit once operations begin.
Your New Job
You will manage all Health & Safety matters during construction, and then oversee site-wide QHSE once operational. You’ll report to the QHSE Manager and work closely with management and site teams.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lead all Health & Safety activities on site
Attend EHS meetings and handle incident reporting
Run training sessions and toolbox talks
Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Prepare reports for management
Oversee staff inductions and keep safety policies up to date
Manage QHSE systems and ensure ISO compliance
What Are We Looking For
Experience in manufacturing/construction.
Min 2 years experience in H&S role.
Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety Management.
Strong knowledge of QHSE laws & standards
Excellent communication and leadership skills
