We are partnering with a highly respected, global organisation operating within a regulated manufacturing environment to appoint a Procurement Specialist on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities Manage assigned purchasing categories, developing both short- and long-term sourcing strategies Conduct market analysis, including consumption trends and supplier insights Lead end-to-end procurement activities including RFQs, supplier selection, and negotiations Review and manage supplier commercial terms (price, quality, delivery timelines) Support supplier qualification and maintain preferred vendor lists Ensure accurate and timely updates across procurement systems (including SAP) Oversee material planning, sourcing, and scheduling to ensure continuity of supply Manage budget responsibilities and deliver cost-effective procurement solutions Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and process efficiency Support audits, investigations, and compliance activities (GMP, HSE, quality standards) Maintain contract databases and procurement documentation Contribute to change control processes and material specification reviews where required Requirements Degree qualified (Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Management or similar preferred) 3-5 years' experience in procurement or supply chain roles Experience working with complex or regulated materials (e.g. chemicals) is highly desirable Strong understanding of sourcing, procurement, and negotiation principles Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills Fluent in English Why Apply?
