Your mission
Role Overview
Own the client relationship for a major utilities account and drive field performance. You'll be the day-to-day contact for the client and the nationwide door-to-door team, aligning delivery to operational, regulatory and sustainability goals while meeting revenue targets.
What you'll do
Client management
* Be the client's primary contact; build trusted, long-term relationships.
* Run regular reviews on performance and service delivery; agree actions and growth plans.
* Align solutions to regulatory, operational and sustainability objectives.
Field leadership
* Act as the point of contact for the field team; foster strong relationships across the network.
* Drive daily sales performance, headcount and training quality to meet client targets.
* Hold regular team reviews to surface improvements and share best practice
Sales & Target-Driven
* Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving account growth.
* Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
* Commercial awareness (of the utilities market preferably) with the ability to anticipate changes in client needs.

o Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities in utilities products and services.
Issue resolution
* Own escalations end-to-end; coordinate internally to fix root causes and prevent recurrence.
Reporting & insight
* Keep accurate activity, pipeline and contact records in the CRM.
* Produce concise reports on account performance, market trends and forecasts for leadership.
Knowledge
* Stay current on our propositions, promotions and innovations.
* Track utilities industry developments—regulation, sustainability and emerging tech.
* Strong understanding (preferably) of utilities services, including energy supply, efficiency solutions, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability initiatives.
Your profile
Experience
* 3+ years in account management, client services or sales (field sales experience essential).
* Utilities/energy/ experience preferred.
Skills
* Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management.
* Strong negotiation and presentation; able to explain complex solutions simply.
* Organised, detail-driven and able to juggle multiple priorities.
* Proven track record against sales targets with strong commercial awareness (utilities a plus).
Technical
* Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
