The Azure CXP PRIMO organization within Azure CXP is responsible for building great products to enable Customer Success at scale. This Software Engineer position is targeted for someone who is thrilled about online services, cloud computing, and user experience, loves to work in an agile development team, and embraces and solves new technological challenges.

Responsibilities
* Design, implement, verify, deploy, and maintain high‑quality code using modern engineering practices and tools.
* Optimize, debug, and refactor code to improve performance, maintainability, and effectiveness.
* Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for a feature.
* Collaborate with experienced engineers and mentors to translate ideas from research and design into production‑grade systems.
* Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions for simple problems, and recommend actions to restore service by following the playbook.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s processes, practices, and culture.
* Learn and adopt new technologies and frameworks as needed.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
* Demonstrated proficiency in computer science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
* Demonstrated experience in object‑oriented programming.
* You must be legally authorized to work in Ireland to be eligible for this role.
Other Qualifications
* Candidate will need to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and proven technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
* Experience designing, implementing, and shipping high‑scale web services using C# or Java.
* Experience or working knowledge of JavaScript/Node.js/React or another similar web stack.
* Experience with distributed systems and a cloud technology stack such as Azure or AWS.
* Working knowledge of agile software development methodologies and tools such as GitHub and Azure DevOps.
